Exponential and logarithmic functions are used to study many naturally occurring phenomenas such as growth of population, decay of radioactive matter, compound interest and depreciation, the pH value of a solution etc.

In this unit we define, discuss and draw the graphs of exponential and logarithmic functions and use them to solve application problems in real life situations.
