Unicellular organisms such as Amoeba, Paramecium, Euglena, Yeast, and Bacteria are studied using microscope because they cannot be seen with naked eye.

Every unicellular organism has specific structures, habitat, mode of locomotion, modes of nutrition, reproduction and importance. Some structures used for movement in unicellular organisms are cilia, flagella and pseudopodia.
