Noun Clause does the work of a Noun. Noun clauses are used when a single word is not enough. They are dependent clauses and often begin with words like who, which, what, why, where, how and that.

Examples

  • How he behaved was not acceptable.
  • She did not know where she was.
  • I like what I hear.
  • He knows how things work here.
